Glasgow Christmas craft market set to bring independent creatives together this weekend

A Christmas market is coming to Glasgow this weekend, bringing independent creatives together in the city centre.

Held at The Briggait, sellers are coming together on November 27. Kicking off at 10am, various makers, collectors and designers will be offering up their goods.

Craft and Flea, who are running the event, hold similar markets at various locations across the UK. The organisation describe themselves as putting a ‘new spin’ on the makers market, adding: “We bring together talented, independent makers, designers, producers and collectors, each handpicked for their quality, on-trend products.

“We don’t define ourselves as a craft market or a flea market but a great mixture of local talents and finds. Enjoy the best of the city’s local produce and makers alongside street food and flea market stalls in this brand new pop-up market.

“No two events are the same but most events feature makers, local produce, sustainable products, vintage collectables and home, food and drink and much more.

“Shop small and shop local in our authentic crafty twist on the traditional flea-market with a huge selection of products from illustration to vintage bric-a-brac, plants to jewellery, ceramics to candles and SO much more.”

Entrance to the market is priced at £2.50, while those under 12 will get in for free. Pre-booked tickets will ensure priority entry on a specific arrival time, while limited tickets will be available for purchase on the day.

If you’d like to get involved, spaces are still available for trading at the event - with applications available here. Tickets can also be purchased here.
