A Glasgow chippy has raised more than £2,000 selling cut-price suppers for a local mental health group.
The Golden Chip in Croftfoot Road sold £1.99 suppers to raise funds for LD Let's Talk, a suicide and mental health awareness campaign in Castlemilk.
They raised £2,445 in total, which will go towards chatty benches in schools across the city.
Bosses said the chip shop was "queued out" from the minute it opened on Wednesday afternoon.
In a post on Facebook, they said: "From all of us at the Golden Chip, we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that came down to our charity night on Wednesday.
"We managed to raise a grand total of £2445 for LD Let's Talk
"Keep an eye on our socials this coming week to see lots of content from the amazing evening!"
LD Let's Talk Derek Reid thanked staff at the chip shop, adding: "It's such a wonderful thing to do and an unbelievable amount of money raised.
"I want to thank the staff who must have been exhausted because from the minute they opened the shop was busy , you're all amazing.
"The food was absolutely amazing and I’ve only had positive comments about the food and the staff.
"It’s such a huge amount of money and will help us put more chatty benches into schools across the city."
