Those travelling by train this morning could be hit with delay or cancellation after a train broke down at Glasgow Central Station.
Services between the travel hub and Ayr have been disrupted by incident and ScotRail has confirmed that tickets purchased for the route will be accepted on McGills buses.
The train operators said: "Due to a broken down train at Glasgow Central, services between Glasgow Central and Ayr will be delayed or cancelled. I'll provide an update as soon as I can.

"To help keep you on the move we have arranged for ScotRail tickets to be accepted on McGills bus services this morning."
