The owner of a popular bar in Paisley has bid farewell to the family business after 22 year.
The Lane, located on Paisley's famous Shuttle Street, is being leased after being in the Codona family for over two decades.
John Codona described The Lane as being " a part of our family…and hopefully yours."
In an emotional social media post John said he was handing over the popular business to a new family, he wrote: "In a sad happy turn of events we will be handing over the reigns to a new family.

"From Suburbia to The Lane it’s been an emotional journey full of ups and downs for me and my family. It’s been a massive part of my life.
"... its quirks will always be part of me.
"From judging the pole dancing competitions in the ‘00, to the amazing New Year’s Eve events of recent years, but most of all the people I’ve had the pleasure to meet along the way.
"The colleagues and customers who have become friends and shaped my life - I will always tell the stories you have made me part of.
"But it’s definitely time for someone else to create some magic in this amazing and unique venue.
"Paisley, we were lucky to be part of your journey and your history, but the future belongs to the bold."
To the new owners he wrote "Good luck John, Laura, James, and Michelle - I hope 7 shuttle street will be as special to you guys as it has to me."
With the decision to handover The Lane being emotional, John felt the Scottish Business Agency were best to handle the selling of his beloved business.
He said "The guys at SBA had a fresh and unfazed approach to selling my business. They completely understood how frustrating and personal a deal like this can be for the seller and made the process as easy as possible."
The venue which is located in the heart of Paisley, is set to be under new management who are ready to bring a fresh approach to Shuttle Street.
The bar will be re-named the Shuttle, as it promises to offer live sports, new food, a brand new look and even a venom bar just in time for Easter.
New owners have revealed the Shuttle will bring a "new vibe" to the popular party street and have extended an invite to join them at their launch party on March 24.
