If you, like most of us, are fed up with the rain, the cloud covering the sun and all round dreich weather, we have some good news for you.
According to weather forecasters at the BBC, Glasgow is in for a warm spell, and you won't have to wait long.
BBC Weather have said that from August 9 (Tuesday), the city should see temperatures go from 18C and cloudy to sunny and 21C.

After this, temperatures will continue to go up with 22C set for the next few days from August 10 until August 12. This gives us four days in total of glorious sunshine.
Thankfully the chance of rain throughout the four days is looking low meaning we could be putting our shades on and putting the umbrellas away for once.
But with the weather for next week looking good, what does the weather closer look like? Here's what forecasters are saying.

This Evening and Tonight
A dry and bright evening with sunny spells. Clear spells for a time overnight allowing temperatures to dip down before cloud and rain reach Argyll through the early hours. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Saturday
Cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain in the morning then a drier afternoon away from Argyll, with some brighter spells developing. A brisk westerly wind becoming established. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday
Cloudy with patchy rain across Argyll on Sunday and early Monday. Otherwise a mainly dry and increasingly bright then sunny few days with temperatures trending up. Quite breezy at times.
