Glasgow bar closes its doors 'until working conditions improve' over staff grievance letter

A city centre bar will close its doors for the foreseeable future after workers raised a catalogue of concerns over working practices.

Union members at Broadcast - which makes up 75 per cent of the workforce - highlighted an array of issues in a collective grievance letter.

Glasgow Live contacted the city centre bar for comment earlier this week.

Following the letter, it is claimed two workers were removed from the bar's regular rota and told that they no longer have a job at the bar. Since then, one of them has been re-instated with immediate effect.
