Glasgow Asda stores to buy Panther M*lk as local award-winning 'world first' launches in supermarket

Award-winning Panther M*lk has launched into a popular UK supermarket with it now being stocked across Scotland - including Glasgow.

The world’s first oat milk based alcoholic cocktail are now stocked in 42 of Asda's Scottish stores with the local brand securing its first retail listing.

Announcing the news just this month, they took to Instagram and said: "We're ecstatic that we've launched at 42 stores across Scotland and we can't wait to reach more of you thirsty panthers. If you grab a bottle for this sunny weekend be sure to share it and spread the love."

According to the local small business, they launched in Glasgow having started on BBC's Dragon's Den.

They write: "Our founder Paul (who at the time owned Glasgow's iconic Sub Club) discovered the drink in a little bar in the backstreets of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, during an action packed weekend during Sónar, a popular electronic music festival.

"The bar Avesta, now sadly shut down, served the drink in three different flavours, white, pink and green all finished off with a dusting of cinnamon. Every year the bar was full of Glaswegians sampling and getting merry on Barcelona's best kept secret, and the concept for the Panther M*lk Bar was born."

Explaining that Panther M*lk launched in Glasgow in 2015 as a secret pop up bar, the demand for their products became so high that today, you can now find them in Asda as well as the lovely Chatelherault Market on Sundays.

So if you want to try the famous M*lk - or get your hands on some having tried and loved it - here is where you can pick up a bottle or two from and support local.
