Glasgow appeal to identify man caught on CCTV amid Buchanan Bus Station assault probe

Police in Glasgow have released CCTV images of a man they believe may hold information which might assist their investigation into a city centre assault.

The incident took place at Buchanan Bus Station around 7.30pm on Sunday, April 3.

The male is described as being white, of medium build with dark hair and was wearing a black jumper, black jeans and light coloured trainers.

Police are urging the man or anyone who knows him to get in touch with them as part of their ongoing enquiries into the assault.

Detective Constable Mark McCallum, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “I would urge the male, or anyone who has information relating to the male, depicted in these images to make contact with the Police.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101, quoting reference number 3018 of 3 April, 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
