Holidaymakers passing through Glasgow Airport this morning were treated to "crazy scenes" with people queued outside the terminal to pass through security.
One traveller said they had "never seen it this bad", with people queuing right back into the car park as they waited to pass through to the departure lounge prior to boarding their flights.
John Morrison estimated that there "hundreds" of people waiting when he arrived at the airport at 5:45am this morning.
