Glasgow Airport has issued an update to travellers regarding its security measures ahead of what are expected to be busy Easter and summer holiday periods.
The airport has introduced new 'Security Preparation Areas' for passengers, which they will see at check-in and before going through security.
As seen in a video posted to Facebook, above the stations are boards which list three steps: "1. Check in", "2. Bin forbidden items", and "3. Boarding pass ready".

Alongside the clip, Glasgow Airport wrote: "We’re prepared for you, are you prepared for security? Use the dedicated Security Preparation Stations in terminal located before security search to make sure your hand luggage is good to go.
"Ensure liquids are no more than 100ml and placed in one of our sealable transparent sustainable bags.

"Remove electrical items including laptops, phones and tablets from your bag, to be screened separately."
