A community activist campaigning for action to stop youth violence has said videos he has seen 'keep him up at night'.
Alex O'Kane has launched a petition pleading with the Scottish Government to do something to curb the anti-social behaviour and disorder unfolding in the city centre. He believes police resources are not enough to control the issue and more has to be done to keep the kids and the public safe.
Through his community Facebook page, which has over 76,000 followers, Mr O'Kane says he is regularly sent videos of youths attacking other youths as well as messages from worried parents. While his work focuses on the north of the city, he has noticed an increase in the number of incidents being sent in from the city centre where kids are likely travelling with their free travel pass.
