A poker player has blamed sexism from her 'bullying' rival for cheating accusations.
Poker newbie Robbi Jade Lew, 35, has been forced to defend herself after she was accused of using a vibrating ring to help her cheat and take home the $130,000 (£117,000) prize.
She was taking part in the Hustler Casino Live tournament, which was being streamed across the world, when she beat her experienced opponent Garrett Adelstein.
The former pharmaceutical worker retweeted a post from fellow poker player Matt Glantz which said 'she feels men are always trying to run her over' and commented 'nailed it'.
He wrote: "She thought she had J3. She feels men are always trying to run her over & she's dying make big calls.
"She was embarrassed she actually had J4 & told nonsensical fibs in an attempt to cover up an innocent mistake. If she had turned over J3, Garrett would have said 'nice hand'."
Her trainer Fara Jaka last night also refuted the accusations she cheated Garrett Adelstein, 36, out of the jackpot.
Robbi's trainer took to social media to write a long Twitter thread explaining how cheating would have been 'very out of character for her'.
He instead claimed she simply did not understand her hand after she caused a giant upset in the world of poker on Thursday.
She had only taken up poker after covid and was relatively new compared to her counterpart Garrett, who has been playing poker for over a decade.
Robbi's coach said: "Having worked w/ her over the last year, cheating would be very out of character from my interactions with Robbie.
"Robbi's only been playing for about a year. Like any new player, she has trouble repeating back HHs & mixes up terminology."
She was playing experienced player Garrett Adelstein at the Hustler Casino Live game in Los Vegas when she went for the jugular with a Jack high and went all in with her $130,000.
She won the game and the entire winnings of $269,000 (£242,000).
Online betting casino DraftKings confirmed there were 150 ways for Robbi to lose - and only 6 ways to win - which she went on to do.
Garrett was left astonished at her win and accused her of cheating by using a 'device hidden that simply vibrates to indicate you have the best hand'.
Some fans have taken to social media after exploring some of the behaviour Robbi was portraying during the intense match.
According to one viewer, they believe there is a potentially important clue when she revealed her winning cards.
When the hole cards were revealed the conversations at the table stopped as Garrett looked at Robbi for nearly a minute.
Even the commentator said: "It's literally the most disturbed look I've ever seen Garrett give."
But as Robbi came increasingly uncomfortable she began to fiddle with her rings on her finger, in particularly, a red one on her middle finger.
Moments later her hand appeared off the table and the ring was not visible - with her slipping it off or turning it the other way round.
One user wrote:" Why unnaturally slap your hand down on the table, nervously clear your throat, then take the red ring off of your right middle finger and put it elsewhere?
'"00% a signalling device. Excessive amounts of other jewellery to blend it in, took one piece off when the heat was on you…'"
Robbi Jade Lew has denied the cheating accusations.
Hustler Casino confirmed both players will not be invited on again until the dispute has been investigated and settled.
