A viral TikTok clip of Independent MP and Restore Britain leader Rupert Lowe proposing an end to most naturalised UK citizenship has sparked intense online backlash, with long-term foreign workers and naturalised citizens demanding tax refunds if their legal status is threatened.

The video, posted by social media commentary account ViralTalk UK, garnered over 17,500 likes and nearly 1,400 comments within four days.
