An Ayrshire dad who saw his lockdown business crack America is to open this weekend's Girvan Harbour Gala.
Michael Sandilands, who is a resident of the town, will be special guest of honour as the big event makes its return on Sunday.
The RNLI has teamed with Michael and his Offxspringz clothing brand to create a special one-off design to mark the weekend.
An RNLI Girvan spokesperson said: "We wanted to do something a bit different and showcase a local business.
"Offxspringz was created as a result of the pandemic.
"It was just supposed to be a fun activity for Michael and his daughters, Harper and Mylah, drawing funny faces and printing them onto matching t-shirts from humble beginings starting on their dining room table.
"It's now a three man team creating bespoke designer clothing that appeals to adults and kids alike.
"With many household name footballers helping to endorse the Offxspringz brand, things are going from strength to strength."
Offxspringz will have a stall at the Harbour Gala selling their exclusive products, with Michael invited to open this year's event.
The clothing brand has designed and created some one of a kind exclusive prizes for the event's kids' competitions that are running at present.
Michael has also offered to donate 10 per cent of sales of the new exclusive limited in numbers, lifeboat designs from the Offxspringz stall on the day to Girvan Lifeboat.
