A brand new collaboration between Primark and Girls Aloud will be launched in the popular budget retail store in memory of their late band member Sarah Harding.
The girl group, who shot to fame in 2002, have created a loungewear and pyjama design that will be sold in Primark with the proceeds going to The Christie Charitable Trust and Cancer Research UK. The pop stars have teamed up with the retail company during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, after their former bandmate, Sarah Harding, passed away of the condition in 2021.

Sarah Harding's family announced her tragic death at the age of just 39 after a year-long battle with breast cancer. September 5 marked a year since her passing and her friends will commemorate her memory by raising funds for research into the disease.
Cheryl Cole, who was also a popular member of Girls Aloud, posted photos of the band in the pj's, captioning the Instagram post: "Before Sarah passed away, we promised her we would fulfil her wish of raising money for vital research to help determine young women between the ages of 29 and 40 who could be at risk of breast cancer with no genetic history. These pyjamas with @primark will raise a significant amount of money to help us achieve our promise to her.
"The PJ’s will be in all UK and ROI Primark stores from tomorrow. ALL proceeds raised will be split equally between The Christie Charitable Trust and Cancer Research UK. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth."
All four remaining members of Girls Aloud - Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh - have posed on social media to boost the support of their charitable venture. The pyjama's will feature a full long-sleeved top and bottom set, as well as a nightie.
The design is a deep royal blue colour with a white star pattern emblazoned all over it. This is not the first way that the band raised money for their late friend, as the four stars also ran in a special event for Sarah, titled the Race for Life for Sarah 5K.
Taking place in July 2022, Nadine, Cheryl and Nicola all ran in Hyde Park alongside hundreds of fans, wearing matching pink t-shirts in Sarah's memory. Kimberly took part remotely as she couldn't make it to London for the event. At the time of Sarah's saddening death, her mum Marie posted a statement onto social media, writing: "It’s with deep heartbreak that today I’m sharing the news that my beautiful daughter Sarah has sadly passed away.
"Many of you will know of Sarah’s battle with cancer and that she fought so strongly from her diagnosis until her last day. She slipped away peacefully this morning. I’d like to thank everyone for their kind support over the past year. It meant the world to Sarah and it gave her great strength and comfort to know she was loved.
"I know she won’t want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease – she was a bright shining star and I hope that’s how she can be remembered instead. - Marie x"
