A Casey resident has been arrested and charged with acting indecently in front of a teenager aboard a bus.
ACT police said the girl, who was less than 16 years old, had been travelling by public transport in the evening when she noticed the 30-year-old man.
"[The teenager] noticed a male passenger sitting nearby committing an indecent act," police said.
The alleged incident occurred about 7.15pm on January 14 this year.
The girl is believed to have used her phone to capture the man's alleged actions on video.
"The matter was reported to police that evening," police said.
Officers also obtained CCTV footage from the bus involved in the incident and made inquiries about the man's identity.
The 30-year-old was arrested about 7pm on Wednesday, October 16.
ACT Policing officers went to Gungahlin Marketplace after reports that the man was allegedly looking under change rooms in a store.
"The man was identified using CCTV footage from the January 14 incident and he was arrested yesterday," police said.
The alleged offender was charged with committing an act of indecency on a person under 16 years and appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The man was remanded in custody and will return to court at a later date.
