Girl, eight, in agony for three years waiting for teeth to be removed

An eight-year-old girl has been left in "agony" for three years waiting for a procedure to remove three of her baby teeth. Ella Mann has been left in constant pain after her baby teeth refused to fall out and now cause her nerve pain despite regular fillings.

When she was five years old her parents Charlie Mann, 54, and Stacy Welch, 42, were told Ella would need to be put under general anaesthetic to remove the teeth. But three and a half years later there is no sign of the appointment to end her daily pain which "keeps her up at night" and she now regularly misses school due to the toothache.

Her parents are now fighting for answers after being told the waiting list could be up to 18 months long. Charlie, a warehouse manager and father to four children, said: "It's frustrating, it's been three years now seeing my daughter in pain.
