A young girl let out a 'horrifying scream' after burning her foot on a red hot BBQ left buried in the sand.

Simi Adenaike, seven, was enjoying a day out at Swansea Bay beach with her family when she was suddenly rushed to hospital after stepping foot on a scalding disposable BBQ.

As she was playing with her relatives on the sand, Simi stepped on a patch which, unbeknown to anybody, was covering a disposable barbecue - which had been buried.
