A 15-year-old girl who was pulled from the water off Cleethorpes beach has sadly died. Police this afternoon said that the teenager, who was one of two children rescued on Saturday evening, has died.
Humberside police said that two youngsters were airlifted to hospital just after 7.30pm on Saturday. A big search had taken place involving multiple emergency services at the time when two children were reported missing.
The young boy whose age has not been released was taken to hospital and has been discharged. An investigation is now taking place into what happened.
