A 12-YEAR-OLD girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in a West Lothian town.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 3.40pm on Thursday on West Main Street in Armadale.
The collision involved a vehicle and the 12-year-old pedestrian.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
Police have launched an investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Constable Stewart Logan said: “I’d like to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far. I’m continuing to appeal to anyone else who saw what happened, or has dash-cam footage which could assist our enquiries, to get in touch.”
