Girl, 10, dies in car collision on sports pitch

Police say the death of a 10-year-old girl struck by an electric car on a sports pitch in Cumbria is not thought to have been a “deliberate act”.

Emergency services were called to the collision involving a black BMW i4 automatic at Kendal Rugby Club shortly before 5pm on Wednesday.
