Giovanni van Bronckhorst has admitted it's unlikely Rangers will be able to win the league after their draw against Celtic.
It means the Ibrox men remain six points behind their rivals with just three games left to go, and Celtic have a much superior goal difference.
Rangers pushed for a winner in the second half to try and keep their slim title charge alive, and there is still a slim chance that there could be an unbelievable turnaround.
But van Bronckhorst knows it's unlikely and feels it had to be three points today for them to have any chance of keeping hold of the Premiership trophy.
He told Sky Sports: “I think only a win today would have given us the chance to close the gap even more.
“It’s still six points with the goal difference in favour of Celtic so it will be more difficult after today.
“We have to prepare well. We had a good performance, physically we looked strong and now we have three days to prepare for Leipzig where we can reach the final in Europe.
“We’ll prepare as we always do and make sure we have the same intentions and character on Thursday because we’ll need it.”
