Giorgos Giakoumakis scored his fourth goal in his last four games for Atlanta United in the MLS, but the former Celtic striker is now sweating on a hamstring injury.
The Greek international forward has become an instant hero for his new club in the USA after netting against Toronto FC at the weekend in a 2-2 draw to continue his scoring run.
He's now scored against Toronto, New York City, New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers in a stunning start to his career in the States, after his debut was initially held up by red tape when his work visa was delayed.
But he hobbled off and Atlanta boss Gonzalo Pineda admitted he's concerned for the 28-year-old.
He said: "Giorgos had to come off because he felt something in his hamstring and we don't want to take chances on him. We will have to wait for an assessment.
"I am very frustrated and upset. It's the second game in a row that we're winning and then we concede goals and we cannot reward ourselves with three points.
"I felt the team did enough to get three points. But we couldn't close the game out and that's where we need to learn."
Giakoumakis scored 19 league goals for Celtic in just 15 starts, although he did also make 25 appearances from the bench in his 18-month spell at the club.
