Celtic are still waiting on final scans to provide an outlook over Giorgos Giakoumakis ' injury.
The Greek striker limped out of the weekend hammering of St Johnstone clutching his hamstring and is a doubt for Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers.
David Turnbull also picked up a heavy knock and both players are being assessed by the club's medical team.
Boss Ange Postecoglou admits he hopes neither player is facing a lengthy absence
He told Celtic TV: "Nothing concrete yet. Again, we're still waiting on the final scans on it.
"Hopefully it's not too bad. He feels like it's not too bad. But until we get the information we won't know. Similar with David Turnbull, he obviously got a pretty hard knock.
"It's only a couple of days after so we'll see how it all settles down.
"With both, I'm hoping it's not too lengthy an absence."
