Giovanni van Bronckhorst slammed his Rangers side’s sloppy defending after they squandered two points in the Scottish Premiership title race.
The Light Blues shared the spoils on a dramatic day in Dingwall after Ross County substitute Matthew Wright scored SIX minutes into injury time to snatch a point for the Staggies.
But Van Bronckhorst was raging at the way his side failed to build on a dream debut goal for Manchester United loan kid Amad Diallo.
A huge blunder by Allan McGregor handed Joran White a leveller before more calamitous defending resulted in a second for County in a four-and-a-half minute turnaround in the first half.
James Tavernier and Connor Goldson looked to have rescued the champions with second half goals but Staggies snatched a leveller at the death and again McGregor was at fault.
It was a blow for Gers and Van Bronckhorst told Sky Sports: “We had some chances kill the game and make the fourth and decisive goal but in the end and in injury time we were too sloppy.
“We gave the ball away, gave a corner away and conceded a goal late in the game so for us it’s not something I’m used to seeing - so many goals against us in this manner.
“We’ve done a lot better in the past but many things went wrong, especially defensively, and it was a disappointing afternoon for us.
“It’s just moments. You have to decide in moments and talk afterwards. You don’t need to make the mistakes at that time.
“It’s very disappointing. It was a hard game but we started really well with the first goal after a couple of minutes.
“That was good but when you gift the two goals to Ross County it made it really difficult for us.
“We started the second half really well and dominated the whole half and created a lot of chances and went in front 3-2.
“When you go 1-0 up you have to be solid and make sure you don’t give any chances away and try to score the second goal.
“But instead of doing that we made two mistakes and they are 2-1 up. The reaction was really good in the second half but in the end we gave two points away.”
