Gino D'Acampo talks 'bedroom activities' with wife leaving Holly and Phil gobsmacked

This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield looked stunned on Tuesday's show as Gino D'Acampo dished out advice to viewers.

The Italian chef was invited into the ITV studio to cook up a storm, but before demonstrating his kitchen skills, Gino, 45, spoke to some callers about their dilemmas.

One female viewer named Debbie told Gino that it was her 60th birthday and that her husband was cooking her special dinner, but she was keen to find out what Gino would cook his wife Jessica for her birthday.

"I'm gonna be very honest with you Debbie, I wouldn't really bother to spend a hell of a lot of time in the kitchen because I know that's not what Jessica would want," Gino replied.

"I probably would cook something really quickly because the rest of the time would just be bedroom activities," he then admitted.

Debbie was quick to respond: "Oh yes we know that don't we Gino?" as Phillip chimed in: "You asked that question knowing the answer then didn't you?"

"I did, yes!" Debbie replied as Gino told her: "Debbie, you're 60 today, go in the bedroom and do what you want! Enjoy yourself!"

Mother-of-three Holly and her co-host Phil clearly weren't expecting Gino's answer and looked pretty stunned.

But Gino's shocking advice didn't end there as the next caller asked him how to keep the romance alive in a long-term relationship.

"Always try something different, in anything, so always do something that you push your relationship to the limit," Gino told the woman named Bianca.

Holly then asked: "Such as what? Go to the theatre?" but Gino was clearly thinking a little different to her.

"You are thinking cleaner than I am, I'm being very honest with you," Gino replied as Holly quickly told him not to give examples live on air.

"You have to push those boundaries as well to keep things alive, but I'm thinking about different kind of boundaries. Do something fun, do something that you've never done before," the Italian star added.

Viewers were in hysterics and took to Twitter to comment, with one person writing: "#ThisMorning im in stitches watching phil on the edge of his seat praying gino doesnt say something inappropriate love this show."

Another person tweeted: "Love Gino Di Campo....straight talker, best way to be in life. Tell is as it is. #ThisMorning."

And a third viewer said: "Please give Gino his own dating show #ThisMorning."

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
