Gino D'Acampo has revealed the truth with regards to his Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip exit, after rumours began circulating that there was a fallout between the chef and his fellow hosts, Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix.
The Italian celebrity chef has also revealed that he may well make a comeback to the hit ITV series in the near future, just weeks after announcing his departure from the programme.
Taking to ITV's Good Morning Britain this morning, Gino talked about the supposed 'feud' between the stars, revealing what actually led to his departure. He also teased that fans may see him back on screens sooner rather than later.

Speaking to hosts Ed Balls and Susanna Reid, Gino explained that it was an issue with contracts and timing which led to him stepping back from the show, not the rumours of a fallout between hosts which have been circulating. Speaking to the hosts, he said: "I love the boys, we have a great friendship, that is not the problem.
"As I said in the video it's the contracts. Sometimes they get very overcomplicated and the main one was about the dates, trying to get the dates together. We tried and we got the dates and then the dates got cancelled, and then we started with other dates and they got cancelled again.
"Then I thought you know what? I can't do this anymore this has become too stressful I just don't wanna do this."
Gino then explained that he previously refrained from committing to other projects next month as he knew he was supposed to be filming for the show, only to be told it was being pushed back to the end of the year - leaving his who month free without work.
He added: "It's not about getting the dates together, the problem is the production company who does Gordon, Gino and Fred, they give you the dates but then they don't commit to the dates. For example next month is May, we should have been all together filming for the whole month. In January, we find out that we are not filming in May any more and we are going to move it to October or November.
"For Fred and I - because Fred has the same problem - we are like 'Guys we can't do this because now we have the whole month free, you know I haven't committed to anything because I thought we were filming and it's not happening'. So that is the main issue."
Gino also revealed that this is not the end for him and the show, continuing: "No absolutely not, I never said that. This year or next year is not gonna happen but if the contract gets right, you know."
And as for rumours of hosts falling out, Gino was quick to dismiss them - dubbing Gordon Ramsay 'a great guy'. He explained: "Gordon is a great guy, and Fred's a great...see the thing is, different from any other show this is not a show where the problem is the friendship. It's a good friendship, we've known each other for many years.
"It's a technical reason. It's scheduling, contracts as well, ownership. I think everybody likes to plan right? If you go to work, you want to know that those are the dates that you're going to go to work. You don't want to show up at work and someone says 'well we can work with you in six months time' because it messes you up here."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
