Gin & Rum Festival at Newcastle Cathedral promises to be the 'party of the year'

Tickets are on sale for a unique festival experience in St Nicholas Cathedral which will see visitors enjoy drinks in the city landmark accompanied by live music.

A touring Gin & Rum Festival will be heading to the historic cathedral in November with more than 120 varieties of the spirits and the range of hand-picked brands on offer will include top British names and other labels from around the world, some of them exclusive to the festival.

There will be other spirits too, such as tequila, as well as fizz and beer plus a cocktail bar. Adding to the atmosphere will be live entertainment and music from the festival's resident DJ.
