A popular gin and rum festival is returning to Nottingham after a tour around UK cities. The festival will take place at The Nottingham Conference Centre on Saturday, August 6 celebrating the very best of gin and rum distillers.
The festival will give visitors to get in the spirit of things with a sample of two from the hand-picked, guest distillers or pick up a drink at the themed gin and rum bars on site. There will also be DJ and live entertainment at the event so that gin fans can make a weekend of it.
This year will see the introduction of a themed tequila bar which will have up to 20 different authentic brands for fans to sample. The festival tours around the UK and will be stopping in Nottingham for just one evening.
There are over 120 different gins and rums available at the event including the very best in UK distillers and some international brands. It presents the perfect opportunity to find a new favourite or sample something truly unique. For fans of flavoured products there will be plenty available and many exclusive to the festival.
Tickets for the event are £18 and include a reusable stainless-steel straw, a G&R branded Copa glass with a carrying satchel for safe keeping. Guests will also be treated to complimentary samples, talks from our guest distillers and a premium selection of mixers and tonics.
The founder of the Gin and Rum Festival, Bobby Nanua, said: “We've had a fantastic start to the year touring the UK but it feels extra special to be coming to back Nottingham, the city has such a good buzz round it. We love it here.”
