Gillian McKeith and Shaun Ryder were all smiles following their exit from I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! All-Stars as they appeared on Lorraine arm-in-arm.
The pair had taken part in the spin-off series filmed in South Africa which saw celebrity icons who participated in the original show over the years battle it out as the ultimate jungle legend.
But Scottish nutritionist Gillian, 63, and singer and songwriter Shaun, 60, weren't exactly best pleased to see each other when she joined the camp after butting heads during their previous stint on the ITV show.
Both Shaun and Gillian took part in the 2010 series of I'm A Celebrity and the pair had a very explosive relationship during their time in camp.
Speaking in the bush telegraph when she entered, Shaun said: “Gillian arrived in a box, she should have stayed in a box folks.”
When the pair appeared alongside each other following their exit, host Ranvir Singh was left completely blindsided when they walked in arm and arm to Lorraine's show.
"This is either amazing PR, or you really have healed the rift.... spills the beans," she said as soon as they sat down to join her on the couch.
Shaun quipped: "I never had a rift really," as he attempted to quash any animosity between the pair as Gillian burst into laughter at his surprising comment.
Gillian wasn't taking any of it, however, as she asked live on-air for an apology from the 60-year-old for a comment he reportedly made back in 2010. Shaun has told hosts Ant and Dec: “If Gillian was my wife, she would be in pieces in a plastic bag, deep in a hole in the back garden.”
But even the controversial TV personality admitted the pair are now apparently "buddy-buddy", as even Ranvir noticed they had been "holding hands" the entire time on the show as they spoke.
"We are more than buds come on now babe," Shaun jokingly quipped, appearing to add fuel to the fire. Ranvir sat back in fascination at what she was witnessing saying she felt like a "gooseberry" in front of the seemingly close pair.
Shaun promised Gillian if they could find his scathing comment on film he would apologise to her, as Gillian expressed her gratitude and they clasped arms on the couch.
When asked about their initial reactions when they were reunited in the jungle and Gillian arrived in the wooden box, Shaun joked he "went out of my box," at seeing her.
"I've never got a bad thing about Gillian, I really haven't," he added before Gillian roared with laughter and said that he must "have a bad memory," referencing their original stint in the 2010 show.
Gillian said she was "dreading" to make her entrance incase Shaun was there and admitted she thought 'oh no' when she spotted him among the other campmates.
"We have turned a corner, we didn't get on in 2010 and we have come full circle you can do it. You don't have to carry the past to the future," she said.
Ranvir seemed to catch on to the lighthearted approach to their interview, as she said their relationship was "spicy" and Shaun said he chose her to work alongside him in the trial in camp as he knew they would "have a lot of fun."
