It's safe to say that Gigi Hadid always looks incredible - even off the runway. So, imagine our excitement when we found out the American supermodel is a fan of our favourite budget makeup brand: Maybelline.
Her 2023 Met Gala beauty look was created using only Maybelline products - including the Falsies Surreal Extension Mascara. Usually £11.99, the much-loved item is currently down to £9.59 at Boots - saving shoppers 20%.
Celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta, who created Gigi's sultry Met Gala makeup, perfectly proved that budget beauty buys are just as good high-end products.
"I curled her lashes twice and used two coats of The Falsies Surreal Extensions Mascara in the shade "very black"," he shared.
"I like this mascara because it's buildable and has 24-hour wear. It gives great length and volume while still looking natural."
Patrick continued: "We wanted to do a feline flick to celebrate Karl's favourite cat. We added a pearl under her eye to continue the embroidery from the dress to the makeup."
The Maybelline Falsies Surreal mascara is said to deliver salon-like extension and volume, adding up to 36% more length to your lashes.
Its formula contains fibres of different sizes, which boost the appearance of lashes with every coat.
The buildable product is designed to last for up to 24 hours, as well as being clump-resistant, smudge-proof and buildable.
It has been also been receiving plenty of praise since its launch.
Giving the mascara five-stars, one reviewer said: "I love this mascara so much, I wear it everyday to go out and even without an eyelash curler it makes my eyelashes look so long that people think I’m wearing false lashes".
Another wrote: "Wow! I LOVE this mascara. Say goodbye to black under eyes from smudging! No flaking. Eyelashes look longer and thicker!!"
But one shopper wasn't happy with their results, adding: "It doesn't give me the length or volume I was hoping for and nothing in comparison to sky high. Wouldn't recommend."
