Josh Giddey's Chicago Bulls have endured a miserable night in their NBA clash in New Orleans with a 143-130 loss to the lowly Pelicans.

The Bulls were expected to outclass the hosts, who had a 2-15 record, including nine successive losses entering the contest to anchor the western conference.

While Chicago were able to scramble to pull off a one-point win over the battling Washington Wizards in their previous outing, there was no such fightback in their Monday night meeting.
