The New York Giants waived defensive lineman Ryder Anderson on Monday with an injury designation and placed offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste on injured reserve (IR). Both players were hurt in last Saturday’s preseason game in Houston.
In corresponding roster moves, they added two undrafted rookies to the roster — defensive lineman Kyler Baugh and linebacker Trey Kiser.
Giants waived injured DL Ryder Anderson and put OL Yodny Cajuste on IR. Anderson (hamstring) and Cajuste (foot) got injured in Saturday’s game.
Anderson had been the third DL in the base D. They’ll have to pursue DL on the waiver wire next week.
They signed DL Kyler Baugh and…

Baugh was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Minnesota this spring and was waived on August 14. He played 10 snaps in the Saints’ first preseason game.
Kiser was recently waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played his college ball at South Alabama.
Cajuste seemed unlikely to make the Giants’ regular season roster, but Anderson was likely a shoo-in. Should he clear waivers, he will revert to injured reserve (IR).
The Giants have one more preseason game, this Saturday night against the Jets before they have to trim their roster to 53 players next Tuesday.
