The New York Giants signed cornerback Cor’Dale Flott, one of their two third-round selections in the 2022 NFL draft, to his rookie contract on Thursday.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Flott is expected to come in and immediately compete at the slot corner position. He’ll do battle with Darnay Holmes and several others throughout the summer before a decision on the starter is made.
In addition to Flott, the Giants have also signed edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, right tackle Evan Neal, linebackers Darrian Beavers and Micah McFadden, defensive tackle D.J. Davidson, and guard Marcus McKethan to their rookie deals.
The Giants’ four remaining unsigned draft picks include wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson, guard Joshua Ezeudu, tight end Daniel Bellinger, and safety Dane Belton.
Expect those contracts to be wrapped up in relatively short order.
