With his first season as general manager of the New York Giants now in the rear-view mirror, Joe Schoen has some work to do to improve the roster this offseason.
The Giants have a need at wide receiver, which they will likely address in both free agency and the 2023 NFL draft.
Buy Giants TicketsThe team entered last season with depth at wide receiver. That quickly changed, however, following the Kadarius Toney trade and a few injuries that left New York thin at receiver.
It was there that Isaiah Hodgins, who was claimed off waivers from the Buffalo Bills, made the best of his opportunity and established himself as an extremely reliable target for the Giants.
Hodgins’ production over the second half of the season was enough to earn a new deal with the team. He signed a one-year, $870,000 deal on Thursday.

#Giants WR Isaiah Hodgins will sign a minimum-salary one-year contract to be back with the Giants. As an exclusive-right free agent, he was unable to negotiate with any other team. An easy choice for the Giants after he shined.
