Giants reliever Taylor Rogers had an outing to forget against the Dodgers on Wednesday night. The righthander came on to pitch the start of the sixth inning for San Francisco, but proceeded to walk four consecutive batters without recording an out before getting pulled by manager Gabe Kapler.
After the difficult showing on the hill, Rogers could be seen throwing his glove into a trash can in the dugout.
The 32-year-old walked Trayce Thompson to start the inning, before giving free passes to Chris Taylor and Mookie Betts. He then proceeded to walk in a run by letting Freddie Freeman on base, before he was relieved by John Brebbia.

With a look of utter disappointment written on his face, Rogers swiftly disposed of his mitt in the dugout trash can before repeatedly pounding his fist in frustration.
The Giants reliever threw 30 pitches in his performance without getting a single batter out. 15 of those pitches went for strikes, but he still walked four straight hitters and saw his season ERA balloon up to an unsightly 18.90 ERA in the process.
Rogers will be looking to make some adjustments on the mound in order to get the results he’s seeking, and it seems as if he’ll also be in the market for a new glove.
