Former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is scheduled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Not the Pro Football Hall of Fame, mind you (he’s not eligible yet), but the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.
Manning was recently named to the Class of 2024, which will be inducted next August 3rd in Jackson, MS.
There were a lot a doubters out there whether I would make it into the HOF. Case Closed!! https://t.co/SgEmjLKgbT

Manning is already a member of the Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame and the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame.
In his three seasons (2000-03) at Ole Miss, Eli threw for 10,119 yards and 81 touchdowns. Both still rank as the most in Ole Miss history.
Manning also racked up many accolades during his tenure at Oxford (not that one): the Johnny United Golden Arm Award, Maxwell Award, SEC Offensive Player of the Year as well as First-Team All-SEC and Second-Team All-American.
