The New York Giants headed down to Jacksonville riding a three-game winning streak headed into their matchup against the Jaguars.
Buy Giants TicketsIt was a game that was filled with sloppy play and plenty of drops by the Giants receivers, and struggles to stop the Jaguars running game.
The Giants also suffered a few big injuries on the day including Evan Neal, Daniel Bellinger and Ben Bredeson. The team also lost cornerback Adoree’ Jackson for a short amount of time in the fourth quarter
The Giants trailed 17-13 in the fourth when they came up with a massive stop on fourth-and-1 on a quarterback sneak by Trevor Lawrence at the Giants’ 20-yard line. The stop gave the Giants the ball with 11:30 left in the game.
On the ensuing drive, the Giants would drive down the field and Daniel Jones would score on a quarterback sneak to conclude a 10-play, 79-yard drive.
The Jaguars would go three-and-out on the following drive and the Giants burn some clock before concluding the drive with a 34-yard field goal that was partially blocked but went through the uprights to give the Giants a six-point lead.
On the Jaguars’ final drive, they would get to the Giants red zone due to a fourth-and-15 conversion. The play would have an extra 15 yards tacked on due to a questionable Leonard Williams roughing the passer call.
The game would end on a pass to Christian Kirk who was stopped close to the goal line and brought down as time expired.
The Giants would hold on in a dramatic ending to improve to 6-1 on the season and extend their winning streak to four straight games.

Daniel Jones breaks off a 24-yard run for a first down, smacks the ground. Knew he almost housed that one.

Touchdown Daniel Jones.
Keeper from one yard out.

This just in: Daniel Jones is a damn good player. #Giants

Giants have two 100-yard rushers (Barkley and Jones) for the first time in 12 years.
— Andrew Siciliano (@AndrewSiciliano) October 23, 2022
Officials are taking a look at this one to see if Saquon Barkley went out of bounds on his last run.
Giants took a timeout with :25 left, but there will be more time on the clock if it is determined Barkley went out of bounds.

Graham Gano adds to the lead with a 34-yard FG.

Lol at the books making the Giants 3 point dogs to the Jaguars. Every week, same discussion. “Giants are a fraudulent team” yet here they go winning again. 🤷🏻♂️

Major props to this team. They just kept going despite all the injuries & a crap performance from their WRs #NYG #TogetherBlue

The Giants might wind up being the "worst" 15-1 team of all time at this point.
— Zack Rosenblatt (@ZackBlatt) October 23, 2022
Oh my. On 3rd & 15 the #Jaguars called a double pass. Lawrence – Kirk – Etienne.
Problem: Etienne fell down.
Incomplete.

Daniel Jones is the first quarterback in Giants history with 200+ passing yards & 100+ rushing yards in a single-game. #TogetherBlue

That is a horrible roughing the passer call on Giants DL Leonard Williams.
The NFL has to stop this madness. He basically hit QB Trevor Lawrence just as he threw.
— Ralph Vacchiano (@RalphVacchiano) October 23, 2022
The #Giants give up a huge 4th and 15 for 28 yards then a roughing the passer on Leonard for an extra 15.
Sadly, this game should've been long over after the interception was reversed by a phantom "hands to the face" call the broadcast team couldn't even find. #TogetherBlue— Dan Schneier (@DanSchneierNFL) October 23, 2022
It’s to the point where you expect the #Giants to win the game in the fourth quarter. Some of the cleanest, most well-coached football you could want.

Completion to Kirk to the 1 and Giants keep him out of the end zone as time expired.
Incredible finish. Giants are 6-1.
