Fans of the New York Giants have had little to root for in this NFL postseason, but many have reveled in the blowout losses suffered by their hated rivals — the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles — in the Super Wild Card round this weekend.

Dallas was overrun by the young Green Bay Packers, 48-32, at home on Sunday, while the Eagles were outpaced by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 32-9, down in Florida on Monday night.

The Giants finished at 6-11 and in third place in the NFC East and were never considered playoff timber this season. Dallas won the division with a 12-5 record and earned the second seed in the NFC.
Philly began the season with a 10-1 record, but then the wheels came off the wagon, losing five of their last six games to fall to the fifth seed in the NFC.

- Of the teams remaining in the playoffs, the Giants have faced San Francisco, Green Bay and Buffalo this year with one victory — a 24-22 Monday night win over the Packers at MetLife Stadium in Week 14.
- The Giants fell to the 49ers, 30-12, in a Thursday matchup at Levi’s Stadium in Week 3. On Sunday night in Week 6, the Giants dropped a close one to the Bills on the road, 14-9.
