New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has always been clean-cut. It’s almost a signature look, so when he showed up for offseason training with a little scruff, it became a topic of discussion.
Jones continues to wear the beard, but he won’t commit to keeping it during the regular season.
“I don’t know,” Jones said on Thursday. “Yeah, I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the beard. It’s not a new me, but we’ll see. We’ll see what happens.”
Earlier this week, Jones was asked about the beard by Kay Adams of the Up & Adams show.

Adams is clearly enjoying the bearded look on Jones, asking him to keep it until at least Week 4. But Jones remained non-committal.
“We’ll see. I don’t know how long this beard thing is going to last,” he said while laughing. “It’s fun for now, it’s a training camp thing, but we’ll see.”
Jones missed the majority of last season with neck and knee injuries, and he is ready to get back on the field.
“I think I’ve tested it. I’ve tested it in practice, tested it in my rehab and workouts and feel like it’s in a good place. So, yeah, I’m confident my knee will be ready to go,” he said Thursday.
Everyone is ready to see what he will do this season. We’ll just have to wait and see if he does it with the beard, or without.
