Giants quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a knee injury and will not return in Week 9’s game against the Raiders, the team announced.
Jones suffered an apparent non-contact leg injury on the final play of the first quarter when he tripped over Giants tight end Lawrence Cager. Then, on the first play of the second quarter, Jones dropped back to make a pass before his right knee buckled before falling to the ground.
After taking a few moments to stay down on the field, Jones exited the field and went to the locker room. Tommy DeVito entered the game for the Giants at quarterback.

The Raiders defeated the Giants, 30–6, in Sunday's contest. The Giants (2–7) will return to action on Sunday in a NFC East showdown against the Cowboys (5–3).
