Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola believes Diogo Jota is 'one of the cleverest players' in the Premier League after the Liverpool striker took his tally for the season to 20 goals with his opening header in the 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday.
The 25-year-old has become an integral part of the Liverpool front three since his move from Wolves in the summer of 2020 for a reported £40 million.
Liverpool briefly moved to the top of the Premier League after their win over Watford as Manchester City didn't kick off in their match away at Burnley until 3pm on Saturday. City now lead the way by one point after victory in East Lancashire.
