GORDON Ramsay has been slated for a "full Scottish" burger recipe he posted on social media.
The video posted to Twitter/X showcases a new burger at his Edinburgh restaurant, Street Burger, which opened in November 2022 at the St James Quarter.
“Try the full Scottish at @gordonramsaystreetburger Edinburgh – with Lorne sausage, a hashbrown and an over-easy egg,” he wrote.

The reaction was certainly mixed, with many choosing to slam the Scottish celebrity chef.
“Full Scottish with no tattie scone, haggis or black pudding, and with a hash brown which is not actually full Scottish content. Grow up,” said PHD candidate Gavin Brewis.
He wasn’t the only one to take issue with the hash brown.
“Hash browns have no business in a Scottish fry up,” said Davie Park. “Carbs should come in the form of a tattie scone”.
“Hash brown should never be on a Scottish breakfast, get this in the bin,” said Daz.
Others took issue with the inclusion of lettuce and tomato, with some users calling it an “abomination” and an “insult to Scots”.
