A wine company has launched a dream summer job for wine lovers - and you will be paid £600 for just a few days' work in the sunshine. Majestic, the well known UK wine retailer, is advertising for a “Vintern” who it says will be paid the equivalent of a £52,000 a year salary to drink on holiday.
The chosen worker will travel to a Portuguese vineyard to enjoy delicious wine from its source. It says the the role was created to help Majestic’s Wine Club decide if all wine tastes better abroad than at home.
The Vintern will go on a three-day placement to try wines from Majestic’s Spain & Portugal Summer Case. The successful candidate will be able to take a friend with them on the trip to the Quinta Da Boavista vineyard, the Daily Star reports.
