Maneskin’s new song The Loneliest is a follow-on from their latest track, Supermodel, which was released in May, as well as the band’s more recent If I Can Dream cover from the new Elvis biopic.
Speaking to NME over the summer, Maneskin said that they thought it was “super cool” to experience topping the US chart with their track Supermodel.
The band’s frontman Damiano David said: “To see such great feedback for our first [global] release makes us really confident for the future.”
He added: “Of course, we didn’t expect that so we’re truly happy and we can’t wait to come out with other music.”
Maneskin rose to fame in 2021 after they won Eurovision, and they’re set to return to London for a headline show at the O2 on May 8, 2023.
A run of North American dates is also scheduled for between late October and mid-December 2022.
