Get almost a third off CeraVe skincare products in Amazon Prime Day sales

Amazon Prime Day is here and beauty fans can bag themselves a bargain thanks to CeraVe slashing its prices for 24 hours. Prime members can get close to a third off beauty products from the popular company, which has received thousands of positive reviews online.

CeraVe offers a range of cleansers, moisturisers and more, most of which contain "three essential ceramides to help restore the skin's protective barrier". Amazon's impressive Prime Day deals sees CeraVe's Foaming Cleanser (£7.98), Blemish Control Face Cleanser (£8.91) and CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum (£14.88) drop price by a whopping 31 per cent.

Reviewing the foaming cleanser, one happy customer from the UK wrote: "I can't recommend this cleanser enough, it really is the best for oily skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. It foams well and really leaves my skin feeling clean, but not stripped. Also great value for money it lasts ages..."

The brand's popular Resurfacing Retinol Serum is now £14.98, down from £21 before the sale - working out at 29 per cent off. One reviewer wrote: "Most retinol products are really expensive, so I was dubious about the effectiveness of this one for the price. However, I am so happy with it. It has helped to clear up my spots almost immediately."

Another shopper added: "I have definitely noticed a big difference in my skin since I began using it, and I notice a difference again when I stop regular use. I use it maybe 2x a week...My skin appears smoother, I think I see a difference to fine lines."

However, some have complained of their skin becoming sensitive after using the product, causing occasional breakouts. When using retinol products, it's recommended to slowly introduce your skin to the substance and to always wear sun cream.

This year, Prime Day began at midnight on Tuesday, July 11, and lasts a whole 24 hours, with the event featuring personalised deals from top brands. The event first began on July 15, 2015, as a way to celebrate Prime members on Amazon's 20th birthday, but has now grown into one of the biggest days in the online shopping calendar.
