Gerry Cinnamon has announced the release of a double live album of his legendary performance at Hampden Park last year with a hint of new music also on the way.
Originally from Castlemilk, the Glasgow based songwriter will release his two-night show on vinyl with fans being able to relive his UK summer dates from 2022 in epic style.
The album will be released on July 14. Britain’s biggest independent artist has also been busy in the recording studio with his third album which is due to be out this year.

The live record of summer 2022, Gerry is releasing a double album, a stunning celebration of those historic gigs, capturing the energy and raucous chemistry generated between the hometown hero and his amazing fans.
The album will also be released in a number of other formats such as D2C exclusive - blue/white double LP, Ultra Clear vinyl standard LP and Double CD (incl. 'Canter' from both nights)
Gerry says, “Live album out July. About time I put out a live album. The tunes aren’t complete until they’re sung live. Crowd are part of the band.
"Been meaning to do it for years but been caught up in a wee whirlwind. Had to be done for Hampden though. Album three cooking in the pot as well.”
The continuing ascent of Gerry Cinnamon is one of contemporary music’s most outstanding stories. Rising from a self-released debut album (2017’s ‘Erratic Cinematic’, which has since gone Platinum), Gerry has become a stadium, arena and castle-filling headliner.
In 2020, his hotly anticipated second album ‘The Bonny’ shot straight to Number 1 in the Official Album Charts in the UK and became the third biggest selling UK album released that year.
And as a multi-platinum selling artist whose revealing and honest songs naturally connect with a huge and devoted audience, he’s achieved it all entirely independently.
Having organically built up a huge following over the past 5 years, Gerry has become the UK’s biggest independent artist.
