Gerry Adams has sparked a huge reaction on social media after sharing a hilarious Christmas-themed post.
The former Sinn Fein leader took to various platforms yesterday to share his take on the ‘four stages of life’.
He wrote: “There are four stages in life…1. You believe in Santa, 2. You don’t believe in Santa, 3. You are Santa, 4. You look like Santa.”

The post was accompanied by a selfie of the 74-year-old, who added a Santa hat emoji to the top of his head.
It was his look-a-like comparison to the famous Christmas character that sparked the biggest reaction.
“You make a great Santa!!” one person wrote.
Another said: “Fair play Gerry, you're the spit of him.”
A third added: “Love it, ye look like Santa.”
Others thought the post was hilarious, with comments including: “It’s gold Gerry”, “Love this” and “Good one Gerry.”
Meanwhile someone else said: “I can't believe I'm saying this to Gerry Adams, but this is so cute.”
