Bayern Munich's Aleksandar Pavlovic has come down with tonsillitis and has been replaced by Borussia Dortmund captain Emre Can in Julian Nagelsmann's final Germany squad. Otherwise, the Mannschaft boss has a fully-fit squad from which to select.
His starting XI almost picks itself, with Toni Kroos' decision to come out of international retirement for one more tournament – shortly before entering full-time pipe-and-slippers mode once Germany's involvement is over – most welcome. He'll sit alongside Robert Andrich in front of the back four, allowing Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala to attack from out to in behind Kai Havertz.
Scotland's form may have fallen off the proverbial cliff since beating Spain at Hampden in qualifying, but theirs is a settled enough squad, with QPR forward Lyndon Dykes the main absentee from the final 26-man squad. New York Red Bulls forward Lewis Morgan was a late call-up after overcoming hip surgery.
