Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt has seen plenty of criticisms this year about missed tackles.
Pratt made sure to address those in a message on social media after his team’s 37-27 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 15.
In that message that pointed out Pratt is up to a career-high 119 total tackles, Pratt poked fun at the idea of missing some while noting he was “terrible today” during the win:
But i don’t tackle 🤣🤣🤣 you going to miss tackle but I was terrible today I’ll be back next week believe that 🩸 can’t stop won’t stop haters never stop High Point NC boy joy ! Love ❤️
It’s sure to be a controversial message amongst fans (actually just look at the replies, it is). Pratt and other Bengals defenders like Geno Stone have had a few of these all season now to ill-fated results.
While Pratt drummed up eight more tackles on the day and his defense technically forced six turnovers, it also got gashed often and continues to be one of the worst overall units in the league and headed for a major overhaul next offseason.
